I would stay away from players that you might think have used steriods in the past because you might get burnt in the draft by selecting these players. That's why I wouldn't go by last year stats in this draft could be very risky. Here is my list of players who I think have used steriods but haven't been blown up by the media. Add names to the list as you wish and if you feel offended by this post I am sorry....

T. Helton+
R. Clemens +
Sheffield+
Hafner+
beltre
pudge
Young
sweeney
wright
drew
edmonds
walker
washburn

numbers decreased last in HR and will continue but i believe alot players are flying under the radar especially pitchers.

dont be surprised to hear some names being linked to steriods this year

This is a recipe for disaster. :-o

Don't expect any worthwhile responses, because everything is speculation

I expected exactly what I am getting

People living in limbo for the last 15 years and still doubt it because they just don't want to believe it not unless it involves players they despise

The truth is they went after Barry and it blew up in their face

First of all, we don't know who is or was on steroids. Second of all, we don't know the effects of going on them and coming off of them. So it's all speculation and all a waste of time IMO. Last year people expected Bonds to have a bad season because he "came off roids" but he had one of his best seasons ever and broke the single-season OPS record. Any time you limit the players you're targetting for unreasonable reasons you're maing a mistake IMO.

I'm not talking about Barry in regards to his latest decision. I'm talking about the whole steriod cloud falling baseball. It started with Barry the media tried to make him guilty and then they started finding all these other names linked to Balco and steriods and the rest is history.

So what does that have to do with a player's performance? :-?

No one is living in limbo and no one is doubting that steroids are out there. There's absolutely no point in speculating however and I don't understand what your purpose in doing this is at all. Innocent until proven guilty.
