My goal in this draft was to get the top players in the weakest positions in the league. While the other team owners were drafting outfielders and pitchers, I stuck with the infiled. My infield is strong, but is my outfield strong enough? Plus my SP took a dive from it.
Also a first-timer, so keep in mind when heeding my advice.
I think Oliver Perez is slightly over-rated, and as such you don't have a real ace which could hurt in H2H. I also see too many RP, especially when one of your SP is Penny. I have Penny too, but don't HAVE to use him as a starter. Try to trade a couple RP for SP depth and maybe a power hitter. If you dealt either Rivera or Wagner, plus Guardado or Rincon you could balance your team more.
1. would deal away eddie
2. outfield really weak
3. oliver perez is not overrated but isn't an ace on a fantasy team
4. try to pick up sleepers such as luis gonzalez or preston wilson
5. good luck with your team
hey ballz- looks good for a first try-- you did well in positions of scarcity except for SP. unfortunately, your OF took a real hit. keep up on the waiver wire as there is usually some good value at that position.
as far as guardado for glaus goes, i would say do it except that you already have beltre at third and could use the help in the OF and SP more. So, you could do the trade and then trade beltre (who will be overrated) and a fringe player like byrnes for a solid OF and a solid SP, you might have something going there. good luck
