Why is Todd making only 900k and Neifi is pulling 1m? they both resigned to 1-yr contracts. Did todd get a bigger signing bonus or something? i sure hope so.

I don't know, but perhaps Hollandsworth has a "health" clause in there, where if he is healthy for xx games, he gets a bonus. He has been hurt too much to pay big bucks for up front.

Neifi??? Why is he getting paid by the Cubs at all and why is he Dusty's favorite PH?

I think the Cubs see Hollandsworth as more of a Pinch hitter and Neifi as a poinch hitter and a defensive sub. Neifi plays good D no matter what people might think of him.
