Between arroyo and willis, i think you will be fine. You can probably expect to get good neumbers from either during the course of the season.
On the other hand, im skeptical on Pedro. Dont get me wrong, hes awesome, but I wonder if it will take a few months until he'll be at an All-star level in his new digs.
Considering the depth of your league, this shouldnt be too much of an issue. Your team looks great!

thanks for the replies, and the compliments... How did I end up with so many stars? I did my homework.

Any other evaluations?

thanks for the private messages of encouragement, and hopefully the replies will help those who wrote me in the first place.

Tremendous infield. Outfield/utility a bit weak but Bay may come through or its always easy to plug someone in during the season. I hope your league (as many points leagues do) doesn't value saves too much because you will likely be at or near the bottom with Hoffman and Ryan. Overall good job.

Hoffman in a pitchers park in a weak division is a great pickup, and Ryan's stuff is among the best in the league. If the O's win close to eighty, he could save forty.

I just rated about twenty more teams... hopefully those managers will return the favor.

wow, eery, that looks almost like my team. VERY GLAD TO SEE SOMEONE PICKED UP JEREMY REED. I think your outfield is a little iffy but since you have Jeremy Reed and Jason Bay on your bench you have depth if one goes down and you can put them in if one of them starts to struggle. Good Team.

Thanks, I am hoping some of the newer players will use this roster as a guide... then share their winnings with me. ;-D

I think you have aa team that could win it all if things go your way a lil bit.

-GREAT infield.
-Good, solid OF
-Nice pitching

if you can land a closer via FA or trade, your team will be that much better.

Awesome team ;-D Your pitching is your week spot, but you will be able to add some arms and things will turn out fine. I don't know if he is available, but I am expecting a good year out of Drese in Texas. Floyd is another guy I am high on :-?

JDD: you did a nice job in your draft, but don't make yourself feel better by saying how well all the other owners did. Obviously not if they let you have 5 guys who should have gone in the top 24 picks. KUDOS to you for picking the right guys. But obviously at least half these owners are clueless to let you get away with A-Rod, Soriano, M. Cabrera, Pedro, and Owalt. I would like to see the draft, Was it live or computer selection?
