he is hitting a robust .175 this summer, is this kid going to turn it around and get another .300 - 30 - 100 season?
You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills... Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills.

I drafted him high last year and he really hurt me. I am staying away this year. I did not like what I saw from him. He will probably bounce back, but he's on my list of players to stay stay awy from, personally.

This is why I do so well in fantasy baseball.
If a player has a down year, you need to know the reason why. Wells missed a month with a leg injury and the same injury probably hampered him for the remainder of the season. The guy is only 26 and has shown tremendous potential already. He's quoted as saying that he will run more (I doubt 30 SB but 15 is reasonable).
We've seen what he can do when he is healthy. A great sleeper in my book and someone that everyone should target at their draft since he is most likely slipping to 7th or 8th round.

I agree about the lack of protection, but I feel (hope) he will drive in a lot of runs b/c he is THE GUY in Toronto.

Protection is, for the most part, a myth.
