Myers or Crede - pick up off waivers?

My points league draft just finished – and I am #2 on the waiver wire. We were forced to pick up 2 catchers during the draft, but I grabbed Inge as my No. 2 guy (plus 3B/OF backup). The last pick of the draft I took Philips for the required No. 2 C.

So, I’d like to drop Philips for someone. I’m thinking Brett Myers or potentially Joe Crede (Beltre is my No. 1 3B). Seems like Myers may be on the verge of something good this year. I’m generally happy with my SP’s, but do like to cruise the waiver wire for possibilities. Crede could maybe be a nice Utility IF for me, but right now I have Morneau.

So, Myers or Crede for Philips (or Inge??). I’d appreciate some input.

I'd take Crede over Myers for Philips if those were my only choices. I'm not very high on Myers after the last few seasons.All in all I think there must be some better breakout candidates on the WW.
