_______R....HR....RBI...SB.....AVG
Lawton 109...20....70......23......277
Jones....69....24....80......13......254
Lawton's #s are pretty peak and Jones has potential to improve more but if you sb over hr and rbi go with Lawton. With Kendall gone there should be room for as many as 95 runs for a guy like Lawton hitting #1 or #3 for Pittsburg.. Lawton's career single-season best AVG is higher than Jones. Lawton's career OBP is 41 points higher than Jones'.
Jones is the more secure pick even without Lawton's move to the National league but if you take the risk on Lawton reacting well to National league pitching

you could end up with the more productive player. I'd only take Lawton if you have secure players and needed some SB.

Lawton

Jones should rebound, but not to be more valuable than Lawton.
