aaron miles, royce clayton, and todd helton got on base enough for vinny castilla to get 131 rbi (batting 4th) and jeremy burnitz to get 115 rbi (batting 5th).

this year will be aaron miles, clint barmes and todd helton getting on base in front of wilson. maybe he wont get 120 but he should still have a healthy amount or rbi.

I agree, I think Wilson makes a great high-reward pick anytime after Round 12 or so. With his position in the lineup, he could rack up plenty of RBIs (around 120 or so, I would guess). However, at least until he proves that he's really back in form, it might make sense to only start him when he's playing at home, since he has much better stats in every category while playing in Coors. Obviously, it depends on how deep the league is and who you have to replace him, but it's just something to consider.

He has too much up-side not to take him in any round later than 12. He is the player I think that we will be looking back on as the best bang for the buck in this years draft.

If he stays healthy, he should be a nice value pick. But that is a big "if".

i 100% completely disagree, as SOON as he starts performing, IF he does, the rockies are trading him away, and he's mediocre at best away from coors -- theyve announced they dont want his salary and he'll be gone by the allstar break, significantly downgrading his value

So the plan is...

Let him perform and trade him before he gets traded away from Coors!

nope, austin kearns, going in the last round of most drafts, MUCH more upside and potential for position :)
