you are not getting Delgado for Beckett to begin with. Beckett hasn't done much yet to establish himself this year, while Delgado is hitting better than any 1B right now. Try for a guy slumping that's good like Konerko if you want a 1B

First of all, you are totally overestimating Beckett's trade value. In my league, he wasn't even drafted for some reason (10 team league with 30 man rosters) and I got him off waivers. He is a top 30-35 pitcher at best. There is no way you are going to get a top 1B like Delgado for him straight up, let alone along with another pitcher as well. At best, you might be able to trade him for a comparable sleeper pitcher like Lilly, Myers, Zambrano, etc, but that's all you'll get for him. You might be better off just waiting for him to pick it up and get more trade value.
Beckett's injury is looking pretty serious now; he has to fly to see that sports physician they all see tomorrow. I would not be surprised if he's gone for the season so basically if you have him, as I do, you're probably just going to have to take the hit.
