He's been drafted too early in my leagues, so it's safe to say he's no longer underrated.

In most of my leagues he's going way too early, more so if he's batting in the last third of the lineup.

Way to wait out those 18 minutes..

Methinks people are a little scared off by concern over whether or not he'll have a job all year. He's supposedly keeping Adam Kennedy's spot at 2B warm.
As such, I'm avoiding him, even at thin 2B.
However, a guy in my league kept him as one of his six keepers. Over Jimmy Rollins. Insane.

In my opinion he is overrated. I am not slamming him cause he was great for my team last year, but I wouldn't want to draft him in the first 10 rounds, which I have seen him go way earlier...too early for my blood.

overrated in the same way every trendy "sleeper" is. just like mauer, people are overpaying for figgins's potential.

I don't think Figgins really has Mauer's upside. He didn't really crack any top-five prospects lists.

i never said figgins has the upside that mauer has, what i meant was a sleeper that everyone knows about is no longer a sleeper, and most likely now overrated.
drafting a player based on what he MIGHT do is not a good idea. drafting a player close to, or slightly before, what he will PROBABLY do will benefit you if he overachieves.

Figgins generally goes way too early in drafts I'm in. Though its not as bad as pierre routinely going in the 2nd round.

Figgins is a fine utility backup and SB specialist. Once Adam Kennedy gets off the DL, Figgins' playing time can be severly limited.
I've seen him drafted too early in every live draft (3) I've had pre-season.
