Vernon Wells or Carlos Lee?

I have both closely rated.

Carlos Lee .293 94R 31HR 98RBI 10SB
Vernon Wells .293 97R 27HR 96RBI 8SB

Nothing makes me think Wells will steal 15, much less the 30 he talks about. If he does then he will be worth a late first, but as I said nothing makes me think it will happen

they're both underrated going in to this year, and if you can sag both, they'll perofrm well.

if i had to choose one, i'd say lee, but not by much.

I have both of them to go along with Abreu and Crawford I will use one as a DH god am I pumped!

But if I had to pick Lee is it!

Was faced with this dilemma yesterday as I needed a 2nd OF to go with Beltran and chose to go with Lee.

It really is a toss-up but Lee's strong spring and the fact that Miller is a better hitter's park than SkyDome factored into my decision.

These baseless steroid accusations are getting crazy. If a player has a down year...oh...it's steroids.

I like Vernon Wells' raw toolset over Lee and thus I would take him by a hair. Lee's one of those guys who I never expect to do well...and he comes back and does even better. We'll see if his gains last year were for real. In a standard 5X5, I like Wells's talent more to hit for a higher average with more SBs. Lee will post higher OBP numbers, though.
