Which do you think will have a better year?

Wade scares me a bit because his WHIP has never been great, and he's moving to the AL East. Add to that his injury conerns.

Davis, on the other hand, is in the same situation as he was last year and is likely just going to progress.

I've got Wade on my team right now and tomorrow the waiver period ends. Should I add Doug and drop Wade?

Davis won't get many wins, but he will get you good K numbers and is far less of an injury concern. If Ks are counted, I like Davis.

i dont know too much about davis. why is it that he is likely to progress? did he learn a new pitch or change his mechanics or something like that? just looking at his numbers he seems kind of like a one year wonder but i dont really know his story.

Personally I wouldnt draft Miller mainly because of his injury concerns. I have Davis as the 4th or 5th starter in many of my 12 team leagues. He wont get many Ws but his peripherals are nice

Davis is a fairly overlooked SP who is significantly better than Miller, even if he doesn't get many wins or improve upon last year he should still make a solid pitcher.

I'll go with Miller who said he's feeling better and playing for that Sox Offense. I think Miller has enough stuff to handle to move to the AL.

Wade Miller! With or without the injury, Miller is the one you want on your team. Davis borders on the type of pitcher who will hurt you, and if Miller is injured - he won't. When he is healthy, he is the better pitcher, and the more likely of the two to help rather than hurt.

Davis is not a better pitcher than Miller. thats insane.

since you can take them both late in drafts, I would gamble on Wade. ;-D
