All predictions have them with about the same numbers any thoughts on who will be better. Any body really big on either of these guys.
Baseball is the only field of endeavor where a man can succeed three times out of ten and be considered a good performer.

I hope neither would be your starter. LaRoche finished very strong
last year-against RHP he is strong, Moses Franco will usually start
against LHP

I'm not a big Broussard fan, but I would have to go with him over LaRoche. LaRoche will probably develop into a better player some day than Broussard, but for now Broussard is a better bet.

laroche could hit .300+ this year and hit out 20 homers. he might be this year's lyle overbay numbers-wise.
i'd take him over broussard, no question.

Who said Broussard can't do the same thing? Broussard hit .275, scored 57 runs, hit 17 HR, 82 RBI, and stole 4 bases in 418 AB's. There's also this really telling category called OBP, which Broussard's was .370. That BA will go up for sure, because Broussard hit .300 in the last half of the season. I wouldn't be suprised if Broussard approached Hafner's '04 numbers. 25 HR, 95 RBI, 75 runs, and a .285 BA are very likely.
