OLIVER PEREZ- CY YOUNG YEAR??

I think he is gonna be somewhat of a bust this year

Not that he will be horrible but he will come no_where near giving you value for what you have to pay for him or where you have to draft him

I have nothing to back up my feelings as I am too lazy to do any research to back up my argument

BUT CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED>>>>in a keeper league he is still a good pick but I have him down as a bust this year

6'3", 160 pounds is a scary build for a pitcher.

The real question is not when he will win the Cy Young, but how long until the Bucs lose him to the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, or Mets?

It is tough being a Pirate fan.

I've read many a report worried about his physical make-up. The 160 pounds did seem a bit freakish, and odd. I should have consulted a second source:

No way he wins the CY, and it won't be because of lack of wins. It will be due to abundance of ER. He might be great someday but he has to get his control in order before we say he's near the best in the NL. There are way too many studs to think Ollie has any sort of shot at winning the CY in 2005.
