Is Gil Meche a sleeper this year?

Postby rlee » Sun Mar 27, 2005 12:10 pm

He had a great first half two years ago, even dominating to a point, was terrible last year, but is pitching lights out this Spring Is he worth a 5th SP spot over Glavine, Lowry, Millwood, or Eaton?

I would grab him over Glavine.

I would take him over lowry. All of those picthers are pretty even, it all depends on your preferences. Eaton and lowry are on the waiver wire in my league... but managers are just waiting to see if they have a strong beginning.

I agree that Eaton is the best of the bunch...followed by Millwood, Glavine and Lowry/Meche... :-)

Personally...I would wait on making a move with Meche...at least for a bit...as I see him an d Lowry about the same...but Meche more of a risk.... :-)
