How do you rate Hawkins among these closers?

Aquino
Affeldt
Adams
Wickman
C. Cordero
Hawkins

I have the first 5 scrubs on one squad and someone just inexplicably cut Hawkins.

If Hawkins closes for a full year, I'd put him at the top of that list.

You have to take Hawkins first, because he could be really good if he can put it together for a year. And if he doesn't, he sets up again and you have a real nice MR. What I've noticed in my drafts is that people are starting to realize their value, and guys like Otsuka, Gordon, Rincon, and Hawkins especially since he will close, are going earlier then you used to get them. I think part is that is thanks to how dominant KRod and Lidge were last year.

Agree if he closes for the full term he is going to be at the top of this list. There are also a handfull that you dont have listed that he may go in front of.

if he closes the full year then he is the best on the list. however, aside from aquino, he probably has the least security. the cubs have only said he is the closer to start the season. what happens when jobo comes back? will the cubs trade for someone?

The Cubs should trade for a lot of things but the Tribune company is too cheap to. Maybe they should stick to ticket scalping instead.
