I've got him at 2B right now but very anxious to trade him. What are you guys looking at for Kent this season? Age? New lineup? New ballpark? Etc. Thanks.

I look for him to produce in conjunction with where he is being drafted. I still see him as an elite Second baseman though Dodger Stadium may reduce his HR's slightly. I see him as a 4th to 5th rounder who won't hurt you.

2B in my opinoin is one probably the weakest position in all of baseball. Kent is for sure a top 5 2B. I wouldnt really worry about him not producing. ESPN has him ranked as their 2nd best 2b behind Soriano.

dont expect big numbers from kent at least thats what i think trade him now.

I don't see Kent's numbers slipping very far -- playing in LA will hurt a little bit, (he did only go 1/11 at Dodger Stadium last year) but the Dodger's lineup looks decent (it would be nice if they could protect him a little better). I don't think .295 / 25 / 100 would be unreasonable from him (with a few SBs and 80 or so runs). I'd be happy to have him as my 2B.

look for good production from Todd Walker this year as he is the cubs everyday second baseman. Or you could pick up Rance Mulliniks he played a little second base.......oh wait he retired

I imagine Kent will see a slight decline in his production due to the aforementioned factors of Dodger Stadium and age. I would project him as a .285-22-90 2b. Not bad at all. But if you aren't high on him, someone else in your league likely is. You might want to flip him now. Chase Utley is looking like the real deal in Philadelphia. Is he on your waiver wire or on someone's team? Either way, he could probably be got for cheap. Otherwise, there's always somebody who will emerge--even at a so-called thin position. Trade Kent for a need, replace him with somebody with high upside and then keep your eye out for a waiver wire wonder.
