Can't really go wrong with either imo. As to who will be more valuable, who knows really. Comes down to personal preference really as I do not htink there is a lot of difference in projected value between the 2. Tex has a bit more power...MCab will get you a better avg in all liklihood, but that is about the extent of it.
I'd call Cabrera the safer pick. He was very consistant last year. Teix had one big month that really inflated his stats, of course he was also hurt for a bit which deflated his stats some as well. I just feel safer with Cabrera. He's also in a position thats not as deep in my opinion.
I like MCab a little better as well...both should give you very solid numbers across the board..but MCabs average will be slightly higher...

England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
I agree that you can't go wrong with either one. Cabrera is definite 2nd round material IMO and Tex is more borderline 2nd/3rd. I'd be happy with either but it's not that close for me. I'm taking Cabrera if he's there.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
