National League Middle Relief

Postby CrazyPooja90 » Sun Mar 27, 2005 1:10 am

Does anyone know any good middle relief pitchers in NL only? Guys who could eventually close would be nice, but right now I would be happy with anyone who wouldn't hurt my era/whip. I have NO idea what I was thinking on draft day (perhaps it was air conditioner fumes?) but I ended up with not one, but TWO Rockies relief pitchers (Dohmann and Aaron Taylor) I might hold on to Dohmann because Tsao could lose the position pretty easily, but Aaron Taylor is making me really nervous.

BTW, anyone real good like Otsuka or Linebrink is gone.

Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

Alfonseca might be an option for saves though I doubt it.

Taveras and King are good picks.

Brazoban in LA.

Ayaly for Wash.

Herges for SF
Once he moved down to the setup role his era dropped like a rock for the last 2 months of the season.
