Cafe Leftover League Season II has completed its draft. We started early this month, wrapped up this evening (late on the 26th).

We're playing 5x5 roto. Lineup C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, UT, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, and 5 Bench.

Many of the picks were a bit confusing to me.

Helton over Manny? Schmidt in the first?

The best teams to me are

CD, the only picks I didn't like were Jeter in the 3rd and Carlos Lee in the 5th... Jeter is usually picked around there, I just don't like him that early, over guys like Edmonds, Huff, Young, Dunn, Nomar... Dunn was a steal in the 4th... 50 HR/20 SB? friggin' steal.

Dunn was a steal in the 4th... 50 HR/20 SB? friggin' steal.

How high do you think this guy should go? I have not seen him go any ealier than the 4th round in most drafts, in ours he was the 8th overall 1B and 13th OF. He has never hit better than .266 and that was last year. Is he magically going to cut down on his K's, hit for better average and still hit 50HR? Meanwhile with his 6'6" and 240lbs body he is going to steal 20 sb. I will believe it when I see it. I wouldn't call the 4th round a steal for Adam Dunn.
