Atkins from Colorado is supposed to be a hot prospect. He will qualify for third and then that will give me some more flexability. I am also hoping Biggio qulifies for 2nd. As a 2nd baseman his value soars and I may be able to trade for a better SS.

not a bad looking team, gotta get patterson into your starting lineup, if burnett can stay healthy and clemens pitches like he did last year, should have a good pitching staff (other than alfonseca)
Come on people, a little help please. I have rated a few teams in here. I have my own idea about this team but I am looking for some confirmation. Is it good, OK, bad? Does it have any glaring problems that need addressed?
That is one semi weakness. Patterson should get 35 and Izturis 25 or so. My team should get about 100 total, which I am hoping will put me in the middle of the pack. One guy has crawford and Podsednik so unless he trades one, that helps. He will have first wrapped up but hopefully will keep others from getting them.
Very solid team overall. I agree with the comment earlier regarding SB's. Patterson is going to HAVE to be a starter for you. I think you could probably upgrade at 3B, but Blake should gain eligibility at 2B quickly, so he'd be a valuable bench guy for you. I really like M. Gonzalez from Pit. he is an absolute machine out there. Be prepared to have to make a deal if things go wrong for your closers. I'm not sure how long Hoffman can hold up, and who knows what Chi's closing situation is going to end up. I can easily see Hendry trading for Dotel or Urbina sometime soon, pushing Hawkins into his more familiar setup role. All in all, it's a great team.

Atkins from Colorado is supposed to be a hot prospect. He will qualify for third and then that will give me some more flexability. I also have a hot prosepct for SBs but I am hesitant to list him in case anyone from my league sees this and gets him off the waiver wire ahead of me. I am tenth on WW so hoping no one gets him ahead of me.
My advice to you is to trade Thome for a top-notch SS or 3B. 1B this year has a ton of solid options however SS and 3B are much more scarce. If that doesn't work you could always go with another SP that will help out since Harden has potential, but risk as well. Other than that, good team.
PS- def get Patterson into that lineup, hes gonna have an even better season than last year now that Sosa's gone.

Looks good I would tell your league that you are willing to trade Pujols away for th right deal I did this jsut to see the kind of offers I got none really impressed me until some guy offered me Ortiz Lidge and H. Matsui and I took it, some people have extreme favortism towrads players and make bad offers to get em, but of course I would only deal Pujols for a ridicoulus trade because he is such a beast and will put up HUGE #s also lookd for some power OF on the WW see if you can get Mench Burrell Nixon Nix all should hit around 30 Hr
