I need a closer like no other, right now i'm working on trading for santana and giving up looper/edmonds or sheff. Looper and boro are my only 2 closers and I calculated it out that I could use a stud SP instead of a mediocre RP and good OF. But I just grabbed bottalico in hopes of filling up my RP spot in case santana trade does happen.

Anyone else have info on this situation?

I don't have any insight, but, it's worth a shot. Adams is hardly a proven closer.

good to hear. I dont know anything about either of the two, but from this short little paragraph it seems as if bottalico is more experienced whereas adams is not? Has adams been doing well this spring, or bottalico doing better?

adams has been doing better -- six scoreless innings, and was the preseason favorite, but they still havent announced it and he might just end up being a setup guy :(

I'm really hopin he turns into the setup guy, is bottalico a decent option for closer? considering that I have looper and jobo as my current ones lol
