Is this guy the real deal?Or is he just another flash.He's still available in almost every league i'm in. :-?

I basically avoid all rookie pitchers, as they're just too volatile. Kazmir is a great prospect if he stays healthy, but he's looking at 12 starts against Bos, NYY and Balt. Ouch! Look elsewhere would be my advice.

He wont be help in most leagues I would take him in a 20 team league but that would be about it

Pretty much, stay away from him this year, unless you desperately need K's. He'll probably not get a lot of W's, and his ERA / WHIP won't be great.

Unless your in a deep, deep league. Like 18-20ish.

Watch for him in the 2nd half. He'd make a great spot starter once June rolls around and pitches against NL teams in interleague play and has warmed up for a bit.

He's got potentially nasty stuff but he's very young and lacks control. For 2005, he'll get you lots of Ks but he might assasinate your ERA and especially WHIP. I'd avoid in 2005 but take a much closer look in 2006.
