good or bad move...

posada
fullmer
hairston jr.
pujols
mondesi
everett
p.wilson
kendall (for now at UT, til giles returns)
giles
jeter

pedro
k.brown
williamson
biddle
borowski
worrell
lilly
moss
hernandez
alfonseca

was it the right thing to do...? i cant fit gonzo in the outfield mix, at best utility.....i hate passing on gonzo but it would cost me posada which is the best at his position even passing on moving kendall in his spot. posada with the position on my team fairs better than me pulling the trigger on this trade....i think...any other thoughts...

Bad move. As a Yankee fan, the drop off in Posada's production after the first few months is as like clockwork each year. Check the numbers. Then trade Posada.

I'd try and package Mondesi and Posada for a proven superstar. Posada is expendable since you have Kendall and there's probably at least one guy in your league that thinks Mondesi can remain this productive in the Yankees lineup.

I would have taken the deal. Kendall is a respectable replacement for Posada and Gonzalez is having a fantastic season. Casey's doing pretty well and he's in a hitters park now. See if you can still do the deal and do it.

I don't know if that's an L or a J, but either way, it was a great idea to pass this up. You can do better than that for Posada. Seems like you could use a first baseman or a second baseman way more than an outfielder, and you should be able to net yourself a pretty damn good first baseman for Posada.

Even if you expect Posada to decline, that won't happen until the all star break. I would ride him until then, then trade him, unless you can get a really great deal for him.
