I have a bunch of trades on the table right now to trade Cabrera for a better OF w/ some power. I've offered him straight up for Vernon Wells, J. Guillen and Carlos Lee. I've also offered a trade to a coach to bring me Inge, Hidalgo and Benson. In return I'd be giving up LaRue, Cabrera and Sabathia.

Blue, I wouldn't do the second trade at all. I don't think you get good value at all. If you can trade O cab straight up for someone, do that, preferably for Wells.

I would also look into dealing Alex Sanchez about a month or 2 into the season to someone in dire need of steals because he probably won't have the starting job all year, unless baldelli sits out the rest of the year. I would also look into dealing durham for an outfielder or someone at a deeper position, basically dealing his position scarcity for value, since you are using him in a utility spot anyways.

Other then that, your team doesn't look that bad.

I'm getting ready to post my 18 team H2H roster, so I'll give my 2 cents on yours. Hoefully I can get your thoughts on mine...

Your team is very speed heavy, so yes I would look into dealing some of it for some power. If you got Wells or Lee for O-Cabs, that would be a coup. I don't like that 2d offer either, but because I think Benson is an uber scab. However Hidalgo makes a nice target for a power upgrade. I would also try to acquire a better #2 behind Randy. Other than that it looks nice. Should be a competitive team.

very solid team for a 18 teamer... if you can move ocab for a power outfielder such as wells or lee i think your team will be much improved as your main weakness is power i think right now....
