in an 8 team league, i don't htink you should be starting shannon stewart or cuddyer (though i like cuddyer's upside).

hometown twin bias?

that said, there are definitely options on your FA wire. post some names and we'll talk about those.

Thank you for your concern with my team. My league is an AL only 8 team league. There is not much to choose from.

I know Stewart is an injury risk but he does score runs and has a batting average over .300.

I have read a lot of favorable previews about Cuddyner. I do not think he is a good choice at third this year but he is second base eligible and second base in the AL in very thin.

Here are some players aviabable in my league:

R. Baldelli (TB - OF)
 R. White (Det - OF)
 R. Belliard (Cle - 2B)
 E. Hinske (Tor - 3B)
 R. Johnson (Tor - OF)
 D. Newhan (Bal - 3B,OF)
 B. Higginson (Det - OF)
 K. Harvey (KC - 1B)
 D. Dellucci (Tex - OF)
 J. DaVanon (LAA - OF)
 L. Rivas (Min - 2B)
R. Gload

Thank you for your help.

i'm not that familiar with AL only leagues, but i thought your offense was solid even for a deep mixed league...you've got 2 potential mixed league 1st rounders in A-Rod and Crawford (3 if Sheff produces like he can), plus you have santana as an anchor (another mixed league first-rounder)...not bad if you ask me...

I feel the thing your team could use the most is an average closer. Like b. ryan. If you dont get someone else you will hurt badly in saves.
