Your team is mediocore. Obviously your offensive is your strength, but I really think you should drop or trade away two out of your three bench players.

Pitching in terms of starters are decent. I like pedro, but the rest of your cast is unstable (exception being hernandez). Closers are weak too. I don't think there is a shot in the world you can contend for the championship in a twelve team league. Sorry to break it to you.

Try to trade your bench offensive players (if anybody wants them) for an upgrade in your closers.

Yes, your offense is overwelmingly stronger than your pitching. But you also have a question mark with Berkman, and Bay. Maybe someone has something to offer for Berkman that will help your SP, or in getting another closer beside Cordero and is in a better situation to take the chance on him and a timely recovery / healthy season.

I love your hitting. Although if I was you I would move Vidro if he starts out hot. I can't remember the last time that guy made it through a year without 2 or 3 trips to the DL. 2B is actually a deep position with some young guys (Jorge Cantu, Ruben Gotay) worth a look. I like your starting pitching although you have some injury concerns there. I would focus on your RP. Cordero is solid but Wickman is a concern. I think your team is good, but not great. With a couple moves, you can compete.

BTW: Who was your 1st round pick? I don't see anyone on your roster worthy of a top 12 pick.

My first round pick was Vlad. Since our draft (Mid-Feb) Ive made 22 trades. This is what Im wound up with. In fact, there is not one person that I drafted in my current lineup.

I think your team is pretty good. You have great power, good BA, but little speed. I like your starters..your closers are below norm...certainly not the worst.

Mench and Sanders have little value in a 12 team league. Id scour the waiver wire looking for a closer or potential closer.

If Crisp does get hurt, there will always be someone as good as Mench available.

Good Luck...
