Your hitting is STACKED. I could see Cabrera actually having a better year than Nomar. I would definitely consider trading one of them if I was you... or another benched hitter.

Your pitching, however, could definitely use a stronger third SP in my opinion. Trading one of your excellent SS should let that become a reality. As a Yankee fan, I have no faith in Vazquez to become what he used to be, so I don't put any stock in him. The rest of the staff is equally iffy. Schmidt and Burnett should put up great numbers, but maybe you can swing Vazquez and Cabrear or Nomar for a third certified ace. Then your team would be a force.

Still like the team now, just think the SP could/should be deeper.

If Nomar succeeds in staying healthy theres no way Cabrera will have a better year, buut, I can see Cabrera stealing 30-35 bases this year, and Nomar is better trade bait. You have enough power in your lineup that it wouldnt hurt to trade him for another CLOSSSSER or an upgrade in your SP after your 1-2. Id say go for a good closer before you start raffleing off your bats for more SP. And keep in mind the difference in Vasquez pitching back in NL, he will face pitchers instead of DH's , IMO he will have a better year than he had last year, possibly return to his Montreal form.

I really like your lineup. As mentioned before, I'd try to deal Nomar or OCabs for a third SP. I think you can survive with your relievers, given that there is less weight on Saves in a 7x7 league compared to standard 5x5. Other than that I think it's a lineup that can contend for the championship.

Even though its only 10 teams, Im shocked you got that many studs. Schmidt, Tex, Nomar, Vlad, Sheffield should all have gone in the top 3 rounds, if not the top 2.

Your RP looks weak to me though, you'll really need to keep a sharp eye on the WW and try to snag the next out-of-nowhere guy. You're already doing it with Batista and Urbina I see. I'd drop Lawton in favor of another gambling RP.. Lawton is never gonna get an at-bat for you ahead of the other OFs.

JJ Putz is one, and a good backup plan if Guardado does go down. I like Mike Gonzalez or you could opt for Hawkins, Rincon or Gordon who might get some saves but are elite middle relievers who will help your ERA and WHIP which looks potentially high with Vaz, Morris and Woody..
