I like it.

I like your team. It's actually pretty consistent all around. That doesn't always transfer to wins, but I think it's a good trait generally. Your pitching isn't terribly deep and definitely has some question marks, so maybe you could give up a Cameron or Hidalgo for another SP.

I like your hitting a lot though. I expect big things from Sexson especially.

Let me know what you think of my team:

Nice job. I do not see any obvious problems, and you appear to be a little above average in everything.

If there are daily updates, you may want to drop some of those extra hitters nad pick up some pitchers. A bench full of hitters in daily lineup changes is a waste.

Plugged your roster into my draft software program, then let the computer draft the remaining 11 teams, since you didn't post a link to your league draft results. Looks like a balanced team, but no one category that you do really well in. vr, Xei

thanks for the replies guys.

I am "D town bombers"

I think as a couple of you said, I have no notable weakness, but will not dominate anything. That was partially my fault in the draft. My 2-5 picks were all pitchers. Schilling/Oswalt/Krod/Foulke, when my 6th pick came to my, I wasn't sure if I wanted to start get some hitting or finish off my pitching. I chose to get some hitting, hoping that mulder would fall to me later, I had a shot at him, but just waited too long. Oh well.

Thanks for running the stats through the program xeifrank. Did you put in last years stats, or some projected stats of my players? Jw...

There is a big Yankee homer in our league, and he is in need of a closer, should I try and get Randy Johnson or Wright from him? Or will it be too hard since he is a yankee homer? 70% of his team is yankees lol.

You certainly dont need 7 outfielders.. drop two and get some hot pitching in. Personally I'd drop Pena, Cameron pronto and maybe Mench as well depending on the SPs available.

Thanks again for inputing the stats in your program.

Looks like i'm a little behind, hmm as of now I'm going to stay put b/c I really like my team the way it is, i'm just hoping to make the right FA pickups during the year b/c I think this is a great core.

Thanks for everyones response.

Pretty solid team. I really like your outfield, and if Drew stays healthy you should be set there. I'd trade away most of your bench for another starter and maybe another infielder. Corner Infielders are serious injury risks, but Uribe should be good and hopefully Vidro can have a good year with Castilla and Guillen joining him, although RFK is a pitcher's park. You might want to pick up a top shelf reliever if there is one available, someone like Mike Gonzalez or Otsuka who will give you a little boost in WHIP and ERA. You should have plenty of trade bait with your bench, and you have a solid core already.
