I live in Rochester, so I read a blurb about him every week in the paper. Rehab in right on schedule. He's considering how hard he should push himself though. He wants to be back before the seasons over and get some at bats in, or if he should just keep building his strength back up and focus on '06.

The bottom line is whenever he's back, he's gonna produce. I got to watch him and Morneau play in Rochester. Absolutely great players. The Twins will be fun to watch in the near future.

Latest News Mar. 26, 2005 - 12:53 pm et

Twins placed outfielder Jason Kubel on the 60-day disabled list with an injured left knee.
Even though he was hurt before Lance Berkman and Rocco Baldell, Kubel is out for the season with a torn ACL suffered in the Arizona Fall League. The damage to his knee was so severe that there's no guarantee he'll show up at 100 percent next spring.

Since the rehab is so extensive, a difference in terms of a week or two isn't as big a deal as if it were for a shorter injury. I think it's pretty much on schedule, but that's really not saying much, since he won't be making an impact for a year.
