Better year: Kaz Matsui or Angel Berroa

Who will have the better year and what stats would be expected?

I know Kaz is playing 2b and Berroa ss but for the sake of yahoo leagues both are rated as ss.

I like Kaz this year. I won't reiterate the long-repeated "Japanese Matsui breakout year" thing, but he was hobbling a tad bit last year. He never seemed to be quite "right" either. However, based on his skillset, I think he can put in a 15-25 year for sure.

Go with Kaz. I think both will suprise people this year, but Kaz will improve on last years numbers and become a top 10 SS. Berroa will do a similar thing, but wont be quite as good as Kaz IMO.

I like Berroa to be a big surprise.

I say he meets and exceeds his rookie year numbers by quite a bit, becoming a top 10 SS at least

Boy how I wish this would come true!!!! Though I think he will be better than last year I don't know if he will be better than his rookie year, not this year anyway!

I think both will be underrated, but Kaz will give you a better return than Berroa will. I'm like several people around here and am expecting a big year from Matsui. ;-D

I'm a little worried about Kaz's back...back problems can be a real pain.

Berroa goes many rounds later and has more upside, I'd go with him.
