Ah hell, I was bored so I thought I'd throw this together.
The bracket is a field of 32. The field was selected based off of VH1's Top 50 Hip-Hop artists list, the top 32 are in this tourney. I'm sure there are artists that were left off that could be here but I'm not gonna change it and I really don't wanna do a field of 64 for it.
Same rules here, two-day polls, top vote getter advances, in the event of a tie there will be a 24 hour runoff poll.
I'll get the first matchups put up at lunchtime.

That line TOTALLY reminded me of an old SNL bit with Dana Carvey as Johnny Carson, trying to update his act by cloning Arsenio Hall, remaking his show into "Carsinio". And in dead-pan Carson voice, Johnny is explaining this to Ed McMahon:
"Now get this.... a house is a crib..... but a crib is not necessarilly a house. I did-not-know-that."

Rap:A form of popular music developed especially in African-American urban communities and characterized by spoken or chanted rhyming lyrics with a syncopated, repetitive rhythmic accompaniment
Hip Hop:# A popular urban youth culture, closely associated with rap music and with the style and fashions of African-American inner-city residents.
Hip Hop is a culture, Rap is the music of the culture.
