Blalock's bad second half wasn't quite as bad as it seems...It was really just a horrid July that did it.


I'd still easily take Aramis, though. No doubt about it.

Blalock, if he hadn't hurt his wrist (no he wasn't inconsistant he was hurt) he may well have won the MVP last year.

I had to re-ignite this thread because I just realized that Blalock will be batting 2nd. I've been on the fence on this debate, saying that ARam is more consistant, but Blalock has a better upside. Now, I will contend that you have to go with ARam. If two hitters are pretty equal (I believe these two are), and one's batting second while the other is batting cleanup, I have to go with the cleanup hitter.
