Need to pick up a backup 1B. League categories are traditional 5x5 plus OBP and Total Bases. Which will have better year?

Depends on how much risk/reward you are looking for. If you want steady, go with Wilson. If you hold out hope well, go with Sweeney (when he is on, he is good)

Sweeney is a much better hitter when healthy...I still don't trust Kraiggers to be anything more than a mini-Troy Glaus (cruddy AVG but plenty of HR's). I'd personally take the chance on Sweeney even though he has no protection.

Actually not a true backup, my league requires two infielders at each position and one of these guys is my second guy. Todd Helton is other 1B.

Sweeney. He is a much better hitter. He will get hurt, but thats what the DL spot is for.
Wilson is ANYTHING BUT CONSISTANT. I had him last season. Nice start. Long slump- 4 months... I will not draft him again, even with my very last pick.

Sweeney, last year was as good as it can possibly get for Wilson.

Probably not much, but at least he has te potential to contribute strongly, especially if he can stay healthy and gets trades. In Wilson's case, it is highly debatable if he will give you very much more than any schmoe off the waiver wire.
