I'm in a yahoo league that is based on total points. We are limited to 1250 innings on the season. I am currently on pace to be over by about 50 innings. I have Jamie Moyer starting against Andy Pettite tonight. Who do I start? Last week I started both and although I received a net gain in points I would have received more had I left Moyer on the bench. We look at about 15 stats for pitchers. Any advice would be great.

i would start both (since the game is in Seattle). its very early in the season, and you never know who will get injured as the season progresses. 50 innings isnt that bad, i would start sitting pitchers later when you know for sure that you will need to sit pitchers.
Who are you're other pitchers? i would consider sitting your weakest SP every time, only he gets hot or soemthing.

My starting pitchers are:
Andy Pettite
Jake Peavy
Jamie Moyer
Bartolo Colon
Tom Glavine
Kevin Brown
Tony Armas Jr (DL).
Maybe bench Colon until he starts getting more consistent?

You need to start benching, or dropping, Peavy. His ERA is about 4.5 for his last 5 starts, and his WHIP is near 1.5. His ERA is over 5 against any team that isn't the Dodgers.
