Pain is all a state of mind. I feel pain but it does not disturb me. It's pretty much just annoying.

When I was younger like 5-6 chasing my brother down the stairs for some reason, tripping and falling face first hitting my chin on the corner of a step !+) Also when I was much younger running from my brother outside and trying to go inside and actidentally when going up the steps falling into the glass door causing my arm to go through cutting my arm. Both of those times I needed stitches. O and also when I was younger I was on a thing, I'm not sure what it's called, but you go across it and it's liek 10-12 feet off the ground, well falling off that and landing on my shoulder breaking it. Hmmmm I was injured a lot as a child....

Another good quote was by a good man by the name of Ray Lewis Linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens

"Pain is temporary, No matter how long it lasts"

I was pitching in high school and the batter cracked one right off my left shin. Didn't break it, but splintered the shin bone. (gotta love aluminum bats) :-o
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.

I was tobogganing down a mountain and my knee caught on a skid that apparently other people had been using for a jump. It did some damage. No broken bones, but it hurt like a bitch and I still had to be taken to the hospital.

And for a baseball related injury, when I played T-Ball I was "pitching" (standing on the mound while he swung) and a guy hit one off my forehead.

When I was ten during the fourth of July I was at my friends house for a picnic. I was petting her stupid Boxer when someone starting lighting off some bottle rockets and the bastard dog bit me twice right in the face. I was a wuss and I cried like a little baby all the way to the hospital and all the while I got stitched up. Although it did hurt like a mother.

I accidentally put one of those electric drills through the palm of my hand. And I once got a nail stuck in my head.

I've had some moments of pain, but yesterday could be an example. I had a cold with a few fever symptoms (chills, extreme tiredness) and I had to run three sprint events at a meet in an oven yesterday (168th St. Armory - great track, but it's boiling in there). For you other track runners, it was a 400, then a 200 and finally leading off a 4X400, and each of the events were 20 minutes apart b/c it was a 4-team scrimmage.

It just hurt because I was sick and I kept thinking I'd puke at the starting line or right after I finished the race. I couldn't even do my warmup. Having to run when you're dead tired (athletes-you know what I mean) i pretty painful.
