Yoda, I assume you are talking about Dunn. Dunn raised his average almost 50 points last year which is major improvement. He also hits a HR in every 9 AB....

.266 is still not that good for an MLB outfielder. He doesn't run, doesn't steal and he won't hit for a high average. What makes him so great?

Not many people can hit 50 HR's.

Not to mention HR's get you Runs and RBIs too... and a lot of people like to draft Thome even though he hits around .270..

Dunn stole 19 bases in 2002. The guy can run, he just doesn't. With a career SB% of 72.5%, why not let him go? Over 80% the past 2 seasons!

You can whinge and moan as much as you like about his batting average but it comes with the territory. He BB's close to as many times as he K's, which means his average is probably gonna fluctuate alot cuz he goes deep into counts. He is an extremely talented hitter, I dont thinnk alot of people recognise how good this guys skills are.

But back to the topic, I would rather Delgado.
He's set for a big year this year.

Dunn has stated he'd like to run more this year, no clue if he actually will.

Dunn has stated he plans on shortening his swing some with 2 strikes, this should decrease his overall power slightly, raise his average slightly and cut down on the K's some.

Delgado moved to a pretty hardcore pitcher park from a hitters park. He moved to a division full of pitcher parks from a division full of hitter's parks. His home road splits have generally favored his home park. I forsee his numbers slipping from what people are used to.

I think Dunn will break out this year so my money is on Dunn, though honestly it could easily go either way.
