Ride the A-Train... 3rd Round Value in the 9th.
so Jones will put up Aramis Ramirez type numbers....Hmmm interesting

Was this sarcasm that went over my head? I think he'll make up for the loss in average to a guy like Aramis with the superior power numbers.
Ok now I'm a Braves fan also but....to think Andrew put up power numbers much better then Aramis, erasing Aramis's advantage in average....it's jsut stupid.
Aramis last year...
.320 35 100 100 0 ( rounded numbers )
Jones last year
.260 30 90 85 5 ( again rounded numbers )
Do those numbers even come close to comparable....?
Not to mention Aramis is younger I believe and has shown improvement while Jones has never had his breakout season people said he would have.
Now Andrew did not exactly have a great year last year, but he's a consistant 35 home run hitter...not much more, besides last year he hit 34 35 and 36 in consecutive years. Also, Andrew's average isn't even relatively close to Aramis who should beat Andrew by atleast 50 points again this year.
Now I will give you this. Andrew should have about 5-10 steals which beats Aramis, but if you consider 5-10 steals and maybe a handful more homers ( I'm being nice here ) better than the few more runs and RBI's Aramis gets and his HUGE advantage in average, be my guest.
