since I know the cafe loves to dicuss every player from David Aardsma to Tony Zuniga, I'd just like to know what everyone thinks of him. He's seems to be a very good underrated catcher.
Go Braves!

I dont know if id call him "underrated", cbs has him ranked as the number six catcher overall -- and he's pretty much being drafted as a top 8 catcher. Which is right where I think he should be -- he's not a posada (much less lopez or martinez) but he's definitely better than estrada or aj
in short, i think he's valued right as he should be -- a mid tier catcher

Hernandez is the #1 NL fantasy catcher, and probably in the top 5 overall.
The thing he gives your team that most catchers don't is every day play. He's started all but 7 games this year. On top top of that, he might be the most consistent catcher in terms of offensive production out there right now.
Yes, there are other catchers who will put up slightly better numbers in fantasy baseball, but I really like this guy and he will be a Top 5 to Top 10 catcher (if not better) for years to come.
