Nixion will be sitting the majority (at least 75%) of the time vs leftys in favor of Payton. Payton will be starting over Nixon opening day vs RJ... (Hartford Courant)

I didn't mean there were next to none about, just that a guy who just sits vs lefties sits a lot less than a guy in a regular platoon, and it's easier to tell when he'll sit and when he won't, so it's not entirely fair to describe it as a platoon situation.

My projections for Trot are...
At Bats: 472
Hits: 135
Average: .286
Runs: 81
RBIs: 89
SBs: 4
Doubles: 28
Triples: 4
HRs: 26
Default yahoo leauges have 12 teams, 3 OFers + Util. Which puts replacement level for starters at or around the 44th best OFer. I have Nixon rated as the 31st best OFer... so I have to correct myself and say that he is above replacement level. I had to run the numbers to know for sure.
Between Trot and the replacement level player I have....
31) T.Nixon
32) J.D. Drew
33) J.Bay
34) S.Green
35) G.Jenkins
36) L.Gonzalez
37) M.Grissom
38) L.Ford
39) C.Patterson
40) C.Figgins
41) J.Burnitz
42) R.Ibanez
43) C.Crisp
REPLEV 44) C.Monroe
but I claim the right to modify my projections at any time

So all in all not a bad spot to draft him in the 25th round of a league with 5 OF spots and 2 util? I'll be very happy with those numbers...I'm sure he'll probably take Giambi's spot in my Util very soon.
Barry Bonds for US president.

I drafted him last night in round 20.
The way I view him sitting against some lefties is a bonus. He's had a few injuries in the past, maybe the extra days rest will keep him more refreshed.
