What kind of numbers does everyone think Mench will put up this year?

There are already a handful of threads on this.
But, if you don't want to read about him elsewhere;
.285
75 runs
33 homeruns
91 rbi's

I say same as last year. I think he'll get more ABs but I also don't think he's as good as he was last year. So it'll even out with a season of similar stats.

Even if you posit that he will have the same BA and hit the same number of HRs, Rs and RBIs will increase additional ABs.

But I expect his numbers to go down over last year numbers with regards to what they are per AB. But with him getting more ABs he'll repeat the same numbers. He'll be hitting down in the line up and wont have the luxuries of hitting in fron of Tex, Blalock or Hidalgo. He'll be hitting 6th or 7th. Not a great spot to be producing runs. I know everyone is high on him. And if he repeats last years numbers he'll have had a good season for where he's being drafted. But I don't think he'll crack 30 HRs, or drive in 90 runs.

The thing that would scare me is if he is hitting down the order behind Hidalgo, who gets on base about as much as good hitting pitcher.

I think IF he can stay healthy he might hit 280 with 27-28 hr and maybe 85 rbi. Stolen bases are almost non existent
You don't have to like 'em to own 'em!!!!
