so I made a spreadsheet in excel and put in all the stats with the formulas to adjust for the cats, and turns out my team is pretty solid. I put in a couple of the other teams that I think are real tough, and only 1 team came out to have a higher pt total. I put in my own projections for mcpherson and anyone else that was injured or something last year. Like I said, out of the 12 teams, i put in 4 of the tough teams, and only 1 came out better.

The problem is, his pt total came out alot higher. About 400 pts or so, i've never done a pts league but that seemed like alot. I know things change during the season, FA pickups, trades and stuff, but thats a steep hill to climb I think...

I would give it a 6 or so. Hitting is above average for a 12 team league. I think Hildago and Durazo will have good years, and Hildago could have a 40 HR, 110 RBI year if he gets hot. Pitching is probably average to a little below for a 12 team league.

I think the avg rating for this team looks to be a 6 or so, not too good. But numbers don't lie and this team is slated to be second best if all goes well (going off last years numbers, not the most accuarte, but a good basis). But second best is not acceptable, I need to make up that point gap somehow b/c that seems like a whole lot of pts to lose by...
