I'm a Yankees fan and I think Vazquez will be much better outside of NY.
You do need to be aware of the workload. He's logged a lot of innings and that could lead to problems down the road. Pretty decent sleeper for 05 though.

The K rate fall was the natural effect of going from hitting pitchers to the DH. The same thing happened to Schilling. It should come back up now that he is in the NL again. He also had some well-diagnosed mechanical problems which are now supposedly worked out. I don't think that things will be as good as 2003, but a sub 4 ERA and a better K rate are reasonable to expect.

It really is only a HR hitters park but that does effect Vaz significantly. He gave up the sixth most HR in 2003 amung pitchers typically drafted in this years draft assuming 50 or so SP are taking in your league format. In '04 he gave up nine more HR than in '03 all with 60
less IP to finish 3rd in HR given up.
