If Craig Monroe is the starter, though, then it's not so easy. I think Infante would get the first chance to show what he could do there in that case. Manager Alan Trammell likes him as a leadoff guy from what he showed there last year when Sanchez was hurt. Brandon Inge is also an option, but I don't think that would happen unless Infante and Logan struggle there.
Sorry - just to corroborate what NZF said. Apparantly some of the major news sources are reporting Inge could bat leadoff, which is misleading. He is a longshot to bat leadoff, but his name is on the list - that would be a better discription. Infante is still the likely candidate to bat leadoff.
