I was thinking of Nix, you're correct.
Earlier in the spring there was talk of Holliday/Piedra platooning, but I guess Holliday has erased that. Interestingly, Sportsline Mentions Hawpe as the better prospect. They're both 25/26, in any rate.
I like Hidalgo. Although he's been freakishly inconsistent in BA, the dude can HIT. He's now in Texas, hitting in a great hitters park, and in a great line-up. He'll likely bat fifth. Hitting behind Tex should be all good. I see something like 280-30-95-90-2 with a good chance of 290-35-105-95. Or, maybe he has a monster year like he did in 2000, when he posted 314-44-122-118-13. In any event, he'll cost as much as a handful of dirt in this year's draft. I drafted him in something like the 18th round of my 12-team league two weeks ago.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

Mench
Hidalgo
Holliday
Pena
To start the season, Hidalgo will bat 5th and Mench will follow him. Both can definetly mash the ball, but Mench has potential for more homeruns without doing too much damage in batting average. I can see both hitting 30+, but can see Mench moving up to 5th spot and solidfying himself as a stud and breakthrough player this year.
