Berkman is 29 and just signed that fat contract. I'd take him hitting in the juice box for six years in a keeper, plus Bagwell has to be out of firstbase soon so they can move him there to prolong his productivity.

Skydome or should I say Rogers Center isnt exactly a pitchers park either. Wells will have his protection before long. My choice is Vernon.

warrick you edited before I could get my post in. Berkman has played in 150+ games the last four seasons. This injury wasn't even baseball related just something stupid imo. When he moves to first, thats where he played at Rice, he should be a 300-30-100-100 for many years to come. Keeper = Berkman.

I'm liking a healthy wells to put up close to his 2003 #'s again. Berkman is going to need time to get in shape when he comes back in may. He may not be hitting well until June.
