i participated in a draft last night. it's been really competitive and fun for the last 3 years. easilly the best league i participate in. for the most part it was a good draft, but 4 picks just had me thinking "WTF!"

Griffey, Clemens, Podsednik, and Giambi went WAY to early.

Edit: Forgot you cant see the draft results.

Griffey went late 3rd round (40th pick)

Pods was the last pick of the 2nd round (24th pick)

Clemens went early 2nd (16th pick)

And Giambi went in the 11th (too lazy to do the math)

the guy with the first pick overall in our draft went for Tim Hudson.

i wouldnt say posednik is a bad pick late second round, perhaps a little too early, but the guy is gonna swipe 50 bags this year, possibly more if guillen wants to run wild. also--i expect his average to come up and level out somewhere around .270, optimistically .280. 12 team league, i can see him in the second

wow those were some shockers....about the biggest shockers i have seen in any of my drafts was tim hudson 3rd overall and chone figgins in the fourth round.......
