What do people think of Matt Clement this year?
He deteriorated as the season progressed last year. But that's what seems to happen to Cubby pitchers.
Do you think he'll pull it back together with Boston?

Decent but not tremendous starter. He has a 3.7 or so ERA in the NL, so expect it to jump to 4+ in the AL.

I think he's going to be a big dissappointment in Fenway.

Do you think he'll win more than 10 games?
How many games do you think he'll lose?

I would expect Clement to fill in nicely to a D. Lowe type season. He will find his groove and probably post between 12-15 wins. He will not be overworked as he was in Chicago.

I think he'll win 14-16, ERA of 4.2-4.0, WHIP of 1.25, 190k's. Pretty much an average pitcher.

Going to huge someday.

I have a strong gut feeling Clement will thrive in the pressure of Boston and a change in scenery and hitters who have never seen him. Not to mention improved control. I see 16 wins, 215 Ks, 3.50 ERA, 1.15 WHIP.
I know I'm going against the grain, but only time will tell if my gut feeling is right.
