If Jason Phillips goes to LA and becomes their starter, where does he rank among catchers. He has seemed pretty much useless as a Met. Does this help him very much, considering the Dodger home ballpark?
I currently have Schneider and Closser as my dollar catchers.

Phillips last year was hyped up by the cafe, which led me to picking him up of course, which ended up as a failure.

I'd rank him way above Schneider and similar with Closser. Phillips really had an off year, but he actually had nice numbers for 2003 season. I see him capable of hitting 15 dingers with .278 ba if he gets the full time job.

Glad I wasnt alone! Thought I was shrewd picking my catcher on final pick of the draft -- I was--turned out to be my best pick of draft because I dropped him in short order for V-Mart!
