Keeper League, just drafted, how did I do?

The feeling around Milwaukee is that the Brewers are on the rise w/ the increased payroll and starting to see young players from good farm system. Hopefully that will mean more W's for Sheets.

Having picked up Reed I hope for ROY-type season.

Yeah, it's Jeter does it! Thanks for the reply. LOL I agree that you will not be dominating in steals, but competitive. Aquino as your 2nd closer is a problem. He's no lock to keep it and is inconsistent when he has it.

Sheets in the 4th was a steal, nice pick. I think your team has a ncie balance between pitching and offense and plenty of good young players for keepers. Should finish towards the top of your league.

Like a couple others have said I would try to upgrade at RP. As far as catcher goes if I could trade Penny and Mauer for V-Mart I would do it in a heartbeat. I just don't trust Mauer and V-Mart is head and shoulders above the young catchers in the league.

Overall a very solid team.

first, if you could get V-Mart for Mauer and Buehrle, i think i would do that trade. He had a great rookie season, and Cle is an improving team, so i see him putting up the same type of numbers as last season. Your RP are a little shallow, especially since i don't have a lot of faith in Aquino keeping his job. SB might also be a weakness for you.

I like your SP though. Sheets in the fourth is a steal. And i think the Brewers might be a little better this season so a couple more wins this year might be possible. They don't have Kolb closing anymore, so that might be a situation to keep your eyes on. Mussina is solid, and i like Bonderman as a sleeper this year.

Thanks for looking at mine. I like the team alot. Very nice for a keeper. Mussina will probably be a fantasy Blah soon but other than that I like the potential. Vlad may have a few more MVPs in him. I wouldn't make the Pedro Deal. I am not sure he will make through this year and even if he does he doesnt have alot of keeper value in my book. Stick with what you have.
